As a souvenir of the Junior European Cup 2009 in Germany we offer a T-shirt. The T-shirt will be offered at a price of 15 €. If you did not reserve a T-shirt in your final entry, unfortunately, we cannot guarantee that all sizes will be available for sale during the JEC. Therefore, we want to offer those nations who did not yet reserve T-shirts the chance to do this by 8 October 2009. We had to relocate the venue of the sprint event on 23 October 2009. The sprint will not take place in Pirna but on the premises of the Bad Gottleuba Health Clinic. This will result in the following changes to the 2nd bulletin:
- Item 6 (Programme) and item 9 (Schedule): New venue for the sprint: Bad Gottleuba-Berggießhübel. The times mentioned in the schedule remain valid.
- Item 8 (Overview Arrival, Competition Areas, Accommodation, Embargoed Areas): Detailed map
- Item 10 (Embargoed Areas): As of now, the village Bad Gottleuba (Saxon Switzerland) is embargoed for orienteering activities. See Detailed map.
- Item 18 (Terrain Description Sprint): The venue for the sprint race consists mainly of a park area with many paths, stairways and individual buildings as well as small neighbouring wooded areas. It is located at a slope and is moderately steep.
- Item 19 (Maps) and 20 (Preliminary Course Lengths): Any changes will be published in the 3rd bulletin (15 October 2009).
